Blallo eb017347b8 Add support for reading the config path from env This commit adds support to reading the config base path from the environment variable `WAYBAR_CONFIG_DIR`. If it is set, but no configuration is found there, it falls back to the previous mechanism of using the default paths, without erroring.		2022-09-05 08:21:36 +02:00

Waybar

Highly customizable Wayland bar for Sway and Wlroots based compositors.
Available in Arch community or AUR, Gentoo, openSUSE, and Alpine Linux.

Installation

Waybar is available from a number of Linux distributions:

An Ubuntu PPA with more recent versions is available here.

Building from source

$ git clone https://github.com/Alexays/Waybar
$ cd Waybar
$ meson build
$ ninja -C build
$ ./build/waybar
# If you want to install it
$ ninja -C build install
$ waybar
